Airflow, WGDC, Air Pressure

Observed during testing were increases in air mass flow due to the available frontal stagnation pressure. On turbocharged vehicles, if the compressor ‘sees’ a higher inlet pressure, it will compensate by reducing waste gate duty cycle and reducing turbine speed, which results in an increase in turbocharger efficiency (less heat generation due to compression at target mass flow).
